Today, on the 25th of September, our happy little girl is five months old. Like Beau did, just before turning five months, she started to roll over from her back to her tummy and she laughs out loud. Beau is her favorite person to look at and it is also when he is talking to her or singing around her that she giggles the most. She talks every now and then but overall she is more of an observer. She likes to entartain herself by blowing raspberries (which is also the way she wakes me up in the morning) and when it comes to toys she likes everything that can fit into her mouth – if it doesn’t fit it is not worth playing with. She sleeps well at night and is most often just waking up once, or sometimes twice, for a snack. Dummies have never interested her but instead she sucks on her thumb whenever she feels tired and needs to sooth herself (which she is really good at). We haven’t started giving her solid food yet but as she is getting more and more interested in what we eat I reckon it is time to start giving her test bites. As from this week she started sitting with us in her Stokke Tripp Trapp Baby Set at the table and she is delighted not to have to sit leaned back in her Baby Björn babysitter anymore. Compered to Beau, who was a fairly small baby, Lola is our sweet little big chubster. At the 4 month health check she was 7.1 kg and 63 cm tal.
